Esports World Cup 2025 winners: every champion, and Team Falcons take the Club Championship

The 2025 Esports World Cup ran in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 8 July to 24 August 2025, with 26 events across 25 games. Team Falcons won the Club Championship for the second year running, and Team Liquid finished second. Below is every champion, runner-up and third-placed team or player from the event.

Esports World Cup 2025 at a glance

It was the second Esports World Cup, after the first in 2024. Both grew out of Gamers8, the Riyadh summer festival held in 2022 and 2023. The event is run by the Esports World Cup Foundation, a non-profit funded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Its combined prize pool of more than $70 million was billed as the largest in esports history.

Five games made their debut in 2025: online chess, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, CrossFire, Valorant and Naraka: Bladepoint. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and EA Sports FC 25 replaced the previous year’s editions of those series.

Club Championship: Team Falcons win again

Alongside the individual tournaments, clubs earned points for results across every game. Falcons won the overall title and the $7 million first prize, with Team Liquid second and Team Vitality third. Falcons’ haul included the Overwatch 2 title and runners-up places in Dota 2 and chess.

Club Championship	Club	Prize
