Nine of those twelve totals have been made since the start of 2024. Ivory Coast appear four times and Mongolia three, which is what happens when the qualifying calendar sends new T20I nations up against established sides. Turkey’s 21, the record for five years, is now only joint tenth.
Ivory Coast 7 v Nigeria, Abuja, 2024
Nigeria batted first in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier match and made 271 for 4. Selim Salau hit 112 from 53 balls with 13 fours and two sixes, Isaac Okpe an unbeaten 65 from 23, and wicketkeeper Sulaimon Runsewe 50 from 29.
Ivory Coast were then bowled out for 7 in 7.3 overs. Opener Ouattara Mohamed’s 4 was the top score, six batters were dismissed for a duck, and three bowlers did the damage for nothing between them: Prosper Useni 3 for 0 from 1.3 overs, Isaac Danladi 3 for 2, and Peter Aho 2 for 0 from two maiden overs. Nigeria won by 264 runs.
The two teams tied on 10

Mongolia matched it on 5 September 2024, all out for exactly 10 in exactly 10 overs against Singapore at Bangi in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier A match. Wicketkeeper Gandemberel Ganbold and Zoljavkhlan Shurentsetseg top-scored with two apiece. Singapore won by nine wickets with 19.1 overs to spare.

Lowest T20I total by a Test nation
West Indies hold that one. Chasing England’s 182 for 6 at Basseterre on 8 March 2019, the two-time world champions were bowled out for 45 in 11.5 overs and lost by 137 runs. Their 55 against England at Dubai in October 2021 is next, and Zimbabwe’s 57 against Pakistan at Bulawayo in December 2024 third.
India’s lowest score in T20 internationals
India’s lowest T20I total is 74, made against Australia at the MCG on 1 February 2008. India were bowled out in 17.3 overs and Australia chased 75 for the loss of one wicket, winning by nine wickets.
That figure has stood for eighteen years. India’s second-lowest is more recent: 76 all out in 11.4 overs against England at Trent Bridge on 7 July 2026. Their 79 against New Zealand at Nagpur in the 2016 T20 World Cup is third.
Turkey’s week in Romania
Turkey held the T20I record before Isle of Man, Mongolia and Ivory Coast went past them. Playing a Continental Cup match at Ilfov County on 30 August 2019, they were bowled out for 21 in 8.3 overs chasing Czech Republic’s 278 for 4, which had been built on a 35-ball hundred from Sudesh Wickramasekara. Mehmet Sert’s 12 was the only double-figure score in a 257-run defeat.
It was not an isolated afternoon. Turkey had made 28 against Luxembourg the day before, and were bowled out for 32 by Austria the day after.
Czech Republic’s 278 for 4 was among the biggest T20I totals ever made at the time. The record now belongs to Zimbabwe, who made 344 for 4 against Gambia at Nairobi in October 2024.
