Pedraza had been on for three minutes, and his own goal ended Lazio’s six-game winning run at Napoli
Davide Frattesi put the Serie A leaders ahead at the Maradona, but a half-time substitute turned Noa Lang’s cross into his own net and Allegri’s Napoli held on for 1-1.

Lazio had won their last six Serie A games, and at half-time at the Maradona on Sunday it looked like seven. Davide Frattesi put them ahead on the counter, and Napoli, beaten in their previous two matches, kept running into Christos Mandas. Then Lazio sent on Alfonso Pedraza for the second half, and three minutes after the restart he turned a Napoli cross into his own net. It finished 1-1.
Frattesi on the break, then Pedraza off the bench
Tijjani Noslin carried the ball upfield on a fast break and found Frattesi arriving late in the box, and Frattesi finished low before the half-hour.
Gennaro Gattuso, back at the club he managed between 2019 and 2021, lost centre-back Josip Šutalo to a muscle problem soon after, with Diogo Leite coming on. At half-time he took off Nuno Tavares and sent on Pedraza.
Pedraza had been on the pitch for three minutes. Noa Lang crossed from the left, Scott McTominay shaped to volley, and Pedraza stretched to get there first and sent the ball past his own goalkeeper.
Both sides had chances to win it. Mandas saved from McTominay and then from Kevin De Bruyne, and Vanja Milinković-Savić made saves at the other end.
Still unbeaten, now two clear
Lazio had won nine of their first ten league games, the first time the club had ever done that, and drawn the other. They are still unbeaten, and the point takes them to 29, two ahead of Roma, who beat Sassuolo 3-0 on Saturday. Inter, on 25 from ten games, can close to within a point if they beat Como at San Siro tonight.
For Napoli it is a point, and probably a useful one for Massimiliano Allegri. They had lost 2-0 to Juventus on 1 November and 4-1 at Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday, and a defeat at home to the leaders would have made a hard week worse. They are tenth on 15 points, 14 behind Lazio.
