Thierry Henry is Arsenal’s all-time top goalscorer with 228 goals in 377 competitive matches, scored across two spells between 1999 and 2012. He passed Ian Wright’s club record of 185 with a double against Sparta Prague in October 2005, and nobody has come close since.
Arsenal have won 14 league titles, the latest in 2025-26, their first since the unbeaten 2003-04 season, and a record 14 FA Cups, and they have been in the top flight without a break since 1919, the longest unbroken run in English football. The goals behind that history are spread across more than a century: five of the top ten began their Arsenal careers in the 1920s or 1930s. Thierry Henry: 228 goals
Henry joined Arsenal in 1999 after a brief spell at Juventus and was the club’s top scorer for seven seasons in a row, from 1999-2000 to 2005-06. He won the Premier League in 2001-02 and 2003-04, the FA Cup in 2002 and 2003, and the Premier League Golden Boot a record four times, and he led Arsenal to the 2006 Champions League final. He left for Barcelona in 2007 and came back on a two-month loan from the New York Red Bulls in January 2012, adding two more goals to his tally.
Ian Wright: 185 goals
Wright joined from Crystal Palace in 1991, aged 27, and was the First Division’s top scorer in his first season, with 29 league goals (24 of them for Arsenal). He was the club’s top scorer for six seasons in a row, broke Cliff Bastin’s club record with a hat-trick against Bolton in September 1997, and won the Premier League in 1997-98, the FA Cup in 1993 and 1998, the League Cup in 1993 and the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1994 before leaving in 1998.
Robin van Persie: 132 goals
Van Persie signed in 2004 and spent his early years in Henry’s shadow before becoming the main striker. In 2011-12, as club captain, he won the Premier League Golden Boot, the PFA Players’ Player of the Year and the FWA Footballer of the Year. His one major trophy with Arsenal was the 2005 FA Cup, and he moved to Manchester United in 2012, where he won the league in his first season. His 132 goals put him eighth on the all-time list.

Dennis Bergkamp: 120 goals
Bergkamp arrived from Inter Milan in 1995 after his career at Ajax and stayed for 11 years. He scored 120 goals in 423 matches, won the Premier League three times (1998, 2002, 2004) and the FA Cup four times (1998, 2002, 2003, 2005), and in February 2014 Arsenal unveiled a statue of him outside the Emirates Stadium.
Theo Walcott: 108 goals
Walcott was 16 when he signed from Southampton in January 2006. Injuries interrupted his career, but he scored 108 goals in 397 matches over 12 years and won the FA Cup in 2015 and 2017 before joining Everton in 2018.
