Thirteen India men’s batters have scored a T20I century, and there have been 25 hundreds between them. Rohit Sharma leads on five, Suryakumar Yadav has four and Sanju Samson three.
Suresh Raina was the first, with 101 against South Africa at Gros Islet in the 2010 World T20. The most recent is Ishan Kishan’s 103 against New Zealand at Thiruvananthapuram in January 2026.

Rohit Sharma — five T20I centuries
Rohit was the second India batter to reach three figures in the format, with 106 from 66 balls against South Africa at Dharamsala in October 2015. South Africa chased it down.
His 118 from 43 balls against Sri Lanka at Indore in December 2017 remains the most violent of the 25: a strike rate of 274.41, with 12 fours and 10 sixes, and India made 260 for 5. Two more followed in 2018 — an unbeaten 111 against West Indies at Lucknow and 100 not out chasing 199 against England at Bristol — and a fifth, 121 not out against Afghanistan at Bengaluru, in January 2024.
Suryakumar Yadav — four T20I centuries
Suryakumar reached three figures for the first time against England at Nottingham in July 2022, a 55-ball 117 in a chase India lost. He added 111 not out against New Zealand at Mount Maunganui four months later, 112 not out against Sri Lanka at Rajkot in January 2023, and 100 against South Africa at Johannesburg that December.
Sanju Samson — three T20I centuries
All three came inside five weeks. Samson made 111 from 47 balls against Bangladesh at Hyderabad on 12 October 2024, in the innings that took India to 297 for 6. He then scored 107 from 50 balls at Durban on 8 November and an unbeaten 109 from 56 at Johannesburg on 15 November, both against South Africa.
India’s highest individual T20I score
Abhishek Sharma’s 135 from 54 balls against England at the Wankhede Stadium on 2 February 2025 is the highest score by an India batter in a T20 international. It contained 13 sixes, more than any other innings in this list, and came at a strike rate of 250.00. He had reached his first hundred seven months earlier, exactly 100 against Zimbabwe at Harare.
Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 126 against New Zealand at Ahmedabad in February 2023 is second, and Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten 123 against Australia at Guwahati in November 2023 third. More on that list on our page for the highest individual T20I score for India.
The newest name on the list
Ishan Kishan became India’s thirteenth T20I centurion with 103 from 43 balls against New Zealand at Thiruvananthapuram on 31 January 2026. No India T20I hundred has come from fewer balls: Rohit’s Indore 118 also took 43, and the two of them share the mark.
