Only four clubs have reached 100 points in a league season in Europe’s top five leagues: Juventus (102 in 2013-14), Real Madrid (100 in 2011-12), Barcelona (100 in 2012-13) and Manchester City (100 in 2017-18). Nobody has done it since. The closest was Liverpool’s 99 in 2019-20.
Figures are from each league season’s final table and the league records pages on Wikipedia, checked on 22 October 2026, after the 2025-26 season.
| Club | Season | W-D-L | Points | Goals | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Juventus | 2013-14 | 33-3-2 | 102 | 80 | 17 |
| Real Madrid | 2011-12 | 32-4-2 | 100 | 121 | 9 |

| Manchester City | 2017-18 | 32-4-2 | 100 | 106 | 19 |
Margin = points ahead of the second-placed team.
Juventus 2013-14: 102 points
Juventus hold the outright record. Under Antonio Conte they won 33 of their 38 Serie A games, drew three and lost two, and finished 17 points ahead of second-placed Roma. It was their third league title in a row. Carlos Tevez was their top scorer with 19 league goals, third in the Serie A scoring list.
Real Madrid 2011-12: 100 points
Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid won La Liga in 2011-12 with 32 wins, four draws and two defeats, nine points clear of Barcelona. They set La Liga records for points (100), goals (121), goal difference (+89), away wins (16) and wins (32), and their 50 away points are still a La Liga record. Cristiano Ronaldo scored 46 league goals, the second most in Spain that season behind Lionel Messi’s record 50.

Barcelona 2012-13: 100 points
Barcelona answered with 100 points of their own the following season under the late Tito Vilanova, beating the club’s previous best of 99 from 2009-10. Their record was identical to Real’s, 32 wins, four draws and two defeats, and they finished 15 points ahead of Real Madrid. Messi was the league’s top scorer again, with 46.
Manchester City 2017-18: 100 points
Manchester City are the most recent team to reach 100. Pep Guardiola’s side won 32, drew four and lost two, and finished 19 points ahead of Manchester United, still the biggest title-winning margin in Premier League history. Their 100 points, 50 away points, 16 away wins, 106 goals and +79 goal difference were all Premier League records. Their 18 straight league wins were too, until Liverpool equalled the run in 2019-20. Sergio Agüero was their top scorer with 21 league goals, and City also won the League Cup.
Why Germany and France have no 100-point champion
The Bundesliga has 18 teams and 34 games, so 100 points needs 33 wins and a draw out of a possible 102. The record is Bayern Munich’s 91 in 2012-13. Ligue 1’s record is Paris Saint-Germain’s 96 in 2015-16, set in a 38-game season. The league has had 18 teams and 34 games since 2023-24.
The closest since: champions’ points from 2019-20
Liverpool’s 99 in 2019-20 is the nearest anyone has come since City. In Spain, Real Madrid’s 95 in 2023-24 and Barcelona’s 94 in 2025-26 are the best totals of the period, and the Bundesliga record of 91 was not threatened.
