David Raya kept the most clean sheets in the 2023-24 Premier League, 16 for Arsenal, and won the Golden Glove in his first season at the club, which he spent on loan from Brentford before the move was made permanent. Everton’s Jordan Pickford was second with 13, and Fulham’s Bernd Leno and Manchester City’s Ederson shared third with 10.
The year before, in 2022-23, the award went to David de Gea, who kept 17 clean sheets for Manchester United. The figures below are the final 2023-24 standings for goalkeepers (source: Premier League).

Golden Glove winners since 2023-24
| Season | Winner | Clean sheets |
|---|---|---|
| 2022-23 | David de Gea (Man Utd) | 17 |
| 2023-24 | David Raya (Arsenal) | 16 |
| 2024-25 | David Raya (Arsenal) and Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest), shared | 13 |
| 2025-26 | David Raya (Arsenal) | 19 |
Raya has now won the Golden Glove in three straight seasons, which only Pepe Reina, Joe Hart and Ederson had done before him. In 2024-25 he and Sels finished level on 13, so the award was shared, the third time that has happened after Petr Čech and Wojciech Szczęsny in 2013-14 and Alisson and Ederson in 2021-22. In 2025-26 Raya kept 19, four more than Manchester City’s Gianluigi Donnarumma, as Arsenal won the title. One more would equal the record of four Golden Gloves held by Čech and Hart.
Most Premier League clean sheets of all time
Petr Čech holds the career record with 202 clean sheets for Chelsea and Arsenal. David James is second with 169, Mark Schwarzer third with 152 and David de Gea fourth with 147.
