Cristiano Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time, and the talismanic forward has further enhanced his reputation at Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr FC, with 132 goals in 155 matches for the club.
He joined Al-Nassr as a free agent on a two-and-a-half-year contract in January 2023, a move that made him the highest-paid footballer in the world. In June 2025 he extended it to 2027.
Ronaldo made his debut for Al-Nassr as club captain in their 1-0 win against Al-Ettifaq FC in a Saudi Pro League 2022-23 clash.
In February he scored his first goal for Al-Nassr against Al-Fateh, converting a stoppage-time penalty to salvage a 2-2 draw at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium in Hofuf. Six days later he scored all four goals in a 4-0 win at Al-Wehda, his first hat-trick for the club.
He then scored twice to help Al-Nassr beat arch-rivals Al-Hilal 2-1 in the final of the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup, his first trophy in Saudi Arabia, and finished as the competition’s top scorer with six goals. He ended 2023 as the world’s top scorer, with 54 goals for Al-Nassr and Portugal.
In 2023-24 he broke Abderrazak Hamdallah’s record for goals in a single Saudi Pro League season and won the Golden Boot with 35 goals in 31 matches, which made him the first player to finish top scorer in four different leagues: the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Saudi Pro League. He won the Golden Boot again in 2024-25 with 25 league goals.
In 2025-26 he added 28 league goals as Al-Nassr won the Saudi Pro League, his first league title in Saudi Arabia. He now has 105 goals in 113 Saudi Pro League matches, plus goals in the AFC Champions League, the King’s Cup, the Saudi Super Cup and the Arab Club Champions Cup.
