Wyld Fangs went up by one point, and Welt and BLEG join GodLike and Orangutan in the Showdown’s Group A
Groups B and C finished week one of the BGMI Showdown qualifiers on Thursday, and eight teams from each moved up a level for week two.

Welt Esports and BLEG Esports both finished the first week of the BGMI Showdown qualifiers on 60 points in Group B, with Welt placed first. The race that mattered more on Thursday in Hyderabad was further down. Groups B and C played their last three matches of the week, the top eight in Group B went up to Group A, and eighth and ninth were separated by one point.
Wyld Fangs by a single point
Behind Welt and BLEG, Rapid Chaos were third on 56. Meta Ninza took fourth on 47, White Walkers fifth on 46 and V1BA Esports sixth on 45. Then it got tight. Madkings and Wyld Fangs both finished on 38 and took the last two promotion places. Higg Boson were ninth on 37.
That point is the difference between a week in the top group and a week in the middle one. Higg Boson now drop to Group C with Mysterious4 (35), Clutza (32), WindGod (22), Lastade and Team AX (19 each), and Rising and 4TR (18 each).
Welt had won the group’s opening match on Erangel on Tuesday, and each of the top four won a match over the six.
Quantum Spark and HyperCatz climb out of Group C
Group C had more movement. After three matches on Wednesday, 4Ends Esports were top on 43 and Raspator second on 42. HyperCatz were sixth on 24 and Quantum Spark third on 28.
Thursday turned that around. Quantum Spark finished first on 62, and 49 of those points came from finishes, the most in the group. HyperCatz added 35 in three games and ended second on 59. Raspator were third on 53 and 4Ends fourth, with K9 Esports and NAQSH level on 48, and SBS seventh on 46. K9 were runners-up to Orangutan at last year’s Showdown, and spent the first week in the bottom group.
The last spot went to GenXFM. They and Santa Esports both finished on 39, and GenXFM, the only one of the two with a chicken dinner, went up. Santa stay in Group C for week two, with IRIS Esports bottom on 11.
What week two looks like
Group A for the next six matches is the eight who survived there (Gladiator Esports, Vasista, 8Bit, 7Gods, Orangutan, Outrage, Reckoning and GodLike) plus the eight who came up from Group B. That puts Welt, BLEG and the rest straight in with BMPS 2026 champions GodLike and Orangutan, who won the Showdown last year.
Group B gets the more interesting mix. The eight relegated from Group A, including BGIS champions Team SouL and BGMI Masters Series winners Nebula, meet the eight promoted from Group C. For a side like Quantum Spark or HyperCatz, that is the first real test of whether this week was a run of form or something more.
Week two starts on Friday, 25 September. The groups are reshuffled once more after it, and whatever the table looks like at the end of week three decides who goes where. The top four in Group A go straight to the Grand Finals, and fifth to 12th go to the semi-finals. Group B’s top four get a semi-final place too, but a direct spot in the Grand Finals means getting into Group A first.
