Vijay Esports missed the BGMI Showdown semi-finals by a point, and they hold the last Lower Bracket place by a point after day one
K9 Esports top the Lower Bracket Survival after day one, and six different teams won the six matches on Sunday as 16 sides chase four semi-final places.

On Saturday, Vijay Esports finished ninth in the Upper Bracket Survival on 110 points, one behind Team Apex Gaming, and dropped out of a direct semi-final place. One day into the Lower Bracket Survival, they are fourth on 48 points. That is the last qualifying spot, and Mysterious4 Esports are one point behind them on 47.
Sixteen teams started this stage on Sunday, 4 October, and only the top four after 18 matches go through to the semi-finals. The other 12 are out of the tournament.
K9 go from 13th to first
K9 Esports had a poor Upper Bracket, finishing 13th on 86 points. On Sunday they topped the lobby with 60, built on 43 finishes and 17 placement points, and their one chicken dinner came on Erangel.
Lastade Esports are the bigger surprise. They were bottom of the Upper Bracket table on 67 points, and they are second here on 55 without a chicken dinner. Their 42 finishes were one fewer than K9’s.
Reckoning Esports are third on 52. They won a match on Miramar and earned 22 placement points across the six games, the most in the top six after Vijay’s 26. Vijay’s day was about survival rather than fights. They won once, on Erangel, and made 22 finishes, the fewest of the top six.
Six matches, six different winners
No team won twice. Higg Boson Esports took the opener on Rondo, HyperCatz won on Erangel and Vasista Esports on Miramar. K9, Vijay and Reckoning took the other three. Nobody has run away with this stage yet.
HyperCatz are sixth on 42, with 32 finishes. Mysterious4 have no win yet, but 32 finishes and 15 placement points have them right on Vijay’s shoulder.
What is left
Twelve matches remain, six on Monday and six on Tuesday, 6 October. With that many games left, the six points between fourth and sixth are close to nothing. The four teams that come through join the semi-finals, which run from 8 to 11 October with 24 teams. The Grand Finals are a LAN in Hyderabad from 16 to 18 October, with ₹1 crore in prize money.
