BMPS 2026 Round 2 closed on Thursday with Group A and Group D back on the maps, three matches per group split across RONDO, Erangel and Miramar, and the promotion-and-relegation chips falling into place for Round 3. iQOO Team Tamilas finished top of Group A on 54 points to lock in their stay at the league's senior tier, while Team AX surged to the top of Group D on 68 points to lead the four promotions into Group C.

Round 2 ran from 11 May to 14 May with the two lobbies alternating across the four days. Vasista Esports and True Rippers led Groups B and C through Days 1 and 2 earlier in the week. Thursday's Day 4 lobby, the second of two for Groups A and D, settled the four-team promotion cut from D and the matching four-team relegation drop from A that will reshape the senior group for the next round.

Group A: iQOO Tamilas hold the top tier

iQOO Team Tamilas built on the 27-point Day 3 lead to finish with 54 points across the six Round 2 matches in their lobby, enough to stay clear at the top of the round-long table. Divine Gaming finished second on 51, with iQOO Revenant XSpark on 49 and Nebula Esports on 47 to round out the top four. Those four stay in Group A for Round 3.

The bottom four of Group A drop into Group B for the next round under the BMPS promotion-and-relegation rules. The bottom-four list closes out a senior-group reshuffle that began with Vasista's strong Day 2 run in Group B and continued through Punk-led True Rippers' lead at the top of Group C across the same two days.

Group D: Team AX take the lead in the final lobby

Team AX put together the best return of the day on 68 points to head Group D and walk into Round 3 in Group C. RedXross followed on 58 after holding the top of the group on Day 3, with Phoenix Esports and Likitha Esports tied on 49 to round out the four-team promotion list.

That is a hard reset for the bottom of the BMPS table. Group D was where Round 1 ended for the lowest-ranked sides; the four teams climbing out of it now will join the rebuilt Group C alongside the four climbers from C, with the bottom four from C falling into D for the next cycle.

What Round 3 looks like

Round 3 is the third of four rounds in the BMPS 2026 qualifier stage, which runs from 6 May to 31 May with 64 invited teams across 16 match days. Each team plays six matches per round on RONDO, Erangel and Miramar. The promotion-and-relegation system reshapes the groups after each round, the bottom four of every senior group dropping a tier and the top four of every junior group climbing one.

Beyond the qualifiers lie the Survival Stage, the Semi Finals, the Last Chance bracket and the Grand Finals at the Jaipur Convention Center on 19 to 21 June. The Champion takes a direct slot to the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh, and the KIE Global Points leaderboard topper picks up the other of BMPS 2026's two EWC tickets.
