Myth Official finished 19th of 24 in the BGMI Showdown semi-finals, and Elite Nova Esports were 20th, a point behind them. After the first day of the Last Chance stage on Monday, they are first and second.
Myth have 70 points from six matches, Elite Nova 61. Wyld Fangs are third on 60 and iQOO Team Tamilas fourth on 57. Sixteen teams are playing 12 matches over two days with points carried over, and only the top four after Tuesday reach the Grand Finals in Hyderabad. The other 12 are out.
Six wins, four teams
Team Tamilas won the opening match on Rondo for 26 points, a big haul in a 16-team lobby. They have not won since. They scored 31 across the next five matches, and it was still enough to keep them in the top four overnight.
Wyld Fangs won the next two, both on Erangel, for 14 points and then 22. Myth took the third Erangel match with 23 and the first on Miramar with 19, back to back. Their 40 finishes are the most of any team in the lobby.
Elite Nova were on 41 after five matches. They won the sixth, on Miramar, for 20 points.
Welt, Orangutan and the chasing pack
Welt Esports are fifth on 44, 13 points behind Team Tamilas. Orangutan are sixth on 43 and Genesis Esports seventh on 40. None of the three has won a match yet, and one chicken dinner on Tuesday would close most of that gap.
Below them it gets harder. Team AX are eighth on 28, 29 points off fourth. Vasista Esports finished ninth in the semi-finals, three points short of the top eight. They are 11th here on 24 and need a very big Tuesday.
Tuesday’s six
The second day uses the same map order as the first: one match on Rondo, three on Erangel and two on Miramar, with the first at 1:30pm IST. I think Myth could afford one quiet day. On Monday’s evidence, the teams from second to seventh cannot.
The four qualifiers join the 12 teams already in the Grand Finals, which run from October 16 to 18.
