K9 Esports and Zero Ark top Groups B and C on Day 2 of BMPS 2026 Round 2
K9 Esports and Zero Ark Official have ended the second day of BMPS 2026 Round 2 sitting on top of Groups B and C respectively, displacing Monday's openers in the process.
The two groups wrapped up their six-match Round 2 allocation across Monday and Tuesday on the KRAFTON India BGMI Esports YouTube stream with 3:30 PM IST starts, rotating across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar. K9 finished Group B on 76 points and a chicken dinner, leaving Day 1 leaders H4K Esports to defend an early 35-point platform that did not hold. In Group C, Zero Ark closed on 68 points, putting paid to Apex Gaming's 40-point Day 1 surge that had been built around two Group C MVP runs from TagJonathan16.
Round 2's promotion-and-relegation math is now real
BMPS 2026's new format is what is making the standings hurt. Teams that finish in the top of their group hold their seeding; teams that finish in the bottom slip toward Group D and the back end of the qualification pool, with a path to the Grand Finals at the Jaipur Convention Center from 19 to 21 June only available via consistent placement points across the rounds. K9 and Zero Ark have now banked the kind of points that take the Group D exit out of the conversation for them. H4K, Apex Gaming, Vasista, Mysterious4, True Rippers and Godsent are the names with Day 1 momentum that lost ground.
What is left in Round 2 this week
Groups A and D take the remaining two days of Round 2, with Team Soul among the names expected to feature in Group A. Once Round 2 closes, the BMPS Global Points seeding decides who advances cleanly into the next stage and who has to play their way back through the relegation route. India holds two slots at the Esports World Cup 2026; the first goes to the team that strings together the cleanest body of work across BGIS, BMPS and the rest of Krafton India's sanctioned circuit, and the BMPS 2026 champion takes the second.
For tonight, the read is short. K9 Esports and Zero Ark Official are the names to remember out of Group B and Group C. Apex Gaming and H4K, the Day 1 stories, will be looking back at points table screenshots they would rather not see again.
