Autobotz top Group D and iQOO Soul lead Group A as BMPS 2026 Day 3 closes the rotation
Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2026 Round 1 Qualifiers crossed their first checkpoint on Friday, with Group A and Group D playing the third matchday at Krafton's promotion-relegation tournament. Six matches were split evenly between the two groups across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar.
Group D opened the day on Rondo, followed by Erangel and Miramar. Autobotz Esports moved to the top of the leaderboard with 43 points, with Esport Social a single point behind on 42 and Quantum Sparks holding third on 30. The squeeze on the bottom four matters here. At the end of the round, the four worst teams from Group D drop out of the rotation entirely, while the top four are promoted up to Group C.
iQOO Soul carry Day 3 in the elite tier
Group A came on for the back half. iQOO Soul went into the matchday looking for a statement and got one, sitting on 41 points after their three games. Wyld Fangs took second on 28 and Nebula Esports occupied third on 27. Group A is the layer the entire tournament feeds into, and on 31 May the top eight from this group go through directly to the BMPS 2026 Grand Finals. Day 3 is only the start of that fight, but iQOO Soul have given themselves a buffer.
The day's pressure was on Group A's bottom half. Four teams from this group will be relegated to Group B at the end of the round, so anyone outside the top twelve has a problem to solve. Wyld Fangs's surge into second is exactly the kind of bounce sides at the back will need to find before the round closes.
How the rotation breaks now
Round 1 is built across four matchdays, with each day pairing two groups for six matches across the BGMI map pool. Days 1 and 2 belonged to Groups B and C, and Day 3 brought Groups A and D into rotation. The promotion-relegation cycle then resets standings before Round 2, with the squeeze tightening every time. The 64-team field will be cut down to sixteen Grand Finalists, with eight qualifying directly from Group A by the end of May, and the next matchday rounds out Round 1 before the rotation kicks back into Round 2.
