Yastika Bhatia made 112 from 84 balls, and Australia A still chased 339 with three balls to spare
Three Australia A fifties levelled the unofficial one-day series in Mohali, and Minnu Mani’s three wickets were not quite enough for India A Women.

India A Women batted first in the second unofficial ODI in Mohali, made 338 for 6, and lost. Australia A got to 341 for 8 with three balls left. The two-wicket win levels the three-match series at 1-1, with the decider on Friday.
Bhatia’s hundred
Yastika Bhatia, captaining India A and keeping wicket, set the total up with 112 from 84 balls. She hit 16 fours and two sixes. She came in at 58 for 1 after Priya Punia’s 36 from 32 balls, and her stand with Tejal Hasabnis was worth 124 for the third wicket before Darcie Brown had her caught by Lilly Mills at 242.
Hasabnis made 60 and was fourth out at 284. Brown then removed Niki Prasad and Minnu Mani in quick succession, and India A were 299 for 6 in the 46th over. Anushka Sharma kept going, finishing on 60 not out from 46 balls, and Sayali Satghare was there at the end on 12.
Brown’s 3 for 39 from eight overs was the only spell by an Australian bowler that went for under five an over.
Three fifties in the chase
Australia A were ahead of the rate from early on. Nicole Faltum went for 12 in the seventh over, but Anika Learoyd hit 54 from 29 balls and Charli Knott 63 from 37, with three sixes. Tahlia Wilson, their captain and keeper, held the innings together with 79 from 77.
Minnu Mani took all three of those wickets, and her 3 for 48 from 10 overs was the best return in India A’s attack. When Knott went at 202 in the 25th over, Katie Mack was stumped soon after, and Wilson’s dismissal left Australia A 219 for 5 in the 31st over with 120 still needed.
Tess Flintoff (38) and Hayley Silver-Holmes (47) put on 65 for the sixth wicket. Satghare bowled Silver-Holmes in the 49th over with 18 needed from 11 balls and two wickets left. Milly Illingworth, who had earlier taken two wickets, hit two sixes in an unbeaten 22 from 14 balls and saw it home with Brown.
Decider on Friday
India A had won the first ODI at the same ground on Sunday, chasing 236 with four wickets to spare. Australia A had already won all three unofficial T20Is in New Chandigarh.
The third ODI is in Mohali on Friday, 25 September, and the tour ends with a four-day unofficial Test from 29 September. That match was meant for Dharamshala and has been moved to Mohali as well.
