Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is one of the busiest T20 grounds in Pakistan. Between March 2012 and October 2026 it staged 249 men’s T20 fixtures: Pakistan Super League games, the National T20 Cup and other domestic tournaments, and 19 T20 internationals. Seven were abandoned without a result, so 242 were actually played.
The records on this page cover every one of them, up to the third T20I between Pakistan and Sri Lanka on 13 October 2026. No PSL matches were played here in 2026, because the Pakistan Cricket Board moved the whole season to Lahore and Karachi in March, so that October series was the ground’s only T20 cricket of the year. Pakistan took it 2-1: they won the first match by four wickets and the second by 82 runs, with Maaz Sadaqat making 96, before Sri Lanka won the third by eight wickets, Kusal Mendis finishing on 87 not out.
If you only want the T20I numbers, or the Test and ODI records, they are in our Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium pitch report.

About the ground
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium replaced the Pindi Club Ground as the city’s international venue in 1992. Its first international was an ODI on 19 January 1992, which Pakistan won by 117 runs against Sri Lanka, and its first Test followed in December 1993, a 52-run win over Zimbabwe. T20 internationals came much later: the first was Pakistan v Zimbabwe on 7 November 2020, and Pakistan won by six wickets. The capacity is usually given as 15,000. It is home to Islamabad United and Rawalpindiz in the PSL and to Northern in domestic cricket.
