The record for the most T20I wins in a calendar year belongs to Bahrain, who won 33 men’s T20Is in 2025. Uganda (29 in 2023) and Austria (29 in 2025) are next, and India’s 28 wins in 2022 are the most by a Full Member nation. Figures are from ESPNcricinfo, to 12 October 2026.

India’s 2022 run broke Pakistan’s record of 20 wins, set in 2021, and was the record for all teams until Uganda passed it in 2023. Associate teams have played far more T20Is since the ICC gave international status to every T20 match between its members in 2019, which is why most of the top of the list is now made up of Associates.
