Zimbabwe hold the record for the biggest win by runs in T20 internationals. They beat Gambia by 290 runs in Nairobi on 23 October 2024, in an African sub-regional World Cup qualifier, after making 344 for 4 with Sikandar Raza scoring 133 not out off 43 balls.
The record has changed hands twice since this list was first published in 2023. Nepal beat Mongolia by 273 runs at the Asian Games in Hangzhou in September 2023, which took the record from the Czech Republic’s 257-run win over Turkey in 2019, and Zimbabwe’s 290 overtook Nepal a year later. Rwanda came close to both in May 2026, beating Ivory Coast by 271.
