BMPS 2026 grand finals: 16 teams chase Rs 4 crore and a Paris ticket in Jaipur

The longest road in Indian mobile esports is almost run. After more than six weeks of qualifiers, survival rounds and a brutal Delhi semifinal, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series 2026 has its 16 finalists, and they all head to the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre from June 19 to 21. Waiting for them is a prize pool that just doubled and a plane ticket nobody wants to miss.

A prize pool that doubled on the run-in

Krafton raised the stakes late. The BMPS 2026 pot, originally set at 2 crore rupees, was bumped to 4 crore on June 8, turning an already big finals into the richest BGMI event of the year. The champions walk away with 1 crore, the runners-up take 60 lakh, and third place is worth 40 lakh, with the rest of the money spread down the table.

For organisations that have spent the whole season grinding through online groups, that kind of money changes what a good finals looks like. A mid-table finish in Jaipur now pays real wages, and a title is life-changing for a roster.

How the 16 got here

The field came together through three very different routes. Eight teams booked their seats early out of the group stage, with GodLike leading that pack in. Another six came through the four-day semifinal at the Nodwin Gaming Arena in New Delhi, a stage built to punish one bad afternoon, where Nebula Esports held their nerve to finish on top of the combined table.

The last two seats were the cruellest to win. Teams that missed the direct cut were dropped into a Last Chance Stage, a short shootout for the final places, and Jonathan’s Team Apex Gaming came through it. For the player who walked away from GodLike to build his own org, dragging Apex into the finals through the back door is its own kind of statement.

A ticket to Paris on the line

The money is only half the reason this finals matters. The BMPS 2026 champion earns a direct slot at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, India’s flagship route onto the global stage. A second Indian team will join them there through the Krafton India Esports rankings, so the chase for points does not end when the trophy is lifted.

The format keeps everyone honest to the last game. The 16 teams play 18 matches across the three days, six a day, with placement points and frags pooled into one standings table. There is no bracket to hide in and no single game that decides it, just three days of consistency under LAN pressure in front of a Jaipur crowd. Whoever handles that best flies to Paris.
