Pakistan Super League Points Table

Two points for a win, none for a defeat, and one point each where a match ends without a result. Teams are ranked on their total, highest first. Because the league stage is a double round robin, every side meets every other twice, so the table reflects a full set of head-to-head results.

A Super Over decides it. Both sides bat one over each and the higher score takes the match and the full two points. That means a tie does not produce shared points the way an abandoned match does, and the result is settled before the teams leave the ground.

Net run rate first, comparing the rate a side has scored at with the rate it has conceded at across the season. If that still leaves teams level, the PSL uses the result of the match between them to decide the higher placing, which is a tiebreaker not every T20 league applies.

Four. They contest the Qualifier, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2 and the final. The Qualifier is between the top two and its winner goes straight to the final. Eliminator 1 is between third and fourth, and the loser is out immediately.

Because a defeat is not fatal. The team beaten in the Qualifier drops into Eliminator 2 and still has a route to the final, while the side beaten in Eliminator 1 is out at once. Finishing first or second effectively means a team can lose a playoff match and survive it.

For most of its history it was a February and March tournament. From 2026 it moved later in the year, running from the end of March into the first days of May. The window is set around the international calendar, so the exact dates shift between seasons.
