Apex Gaming top Group C and H4K seize Group B as BMPS 2026 Round 2 opens

Round 2 of the BMPS 2026 qualifiers opened on Monday with Groups B and C back in rotation, and by the time the third map closed Team Apex Gaming were sitting top of Group C and H4K Esports had grabbed the lead of Group B. Six matches across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar were enough to set up the next two days, with Krafton India's promotion and relegation lines now visible at the top and bottom of both group tables.
Apex Gaming made the loudest statement of the day. They opened the slate on Rondo with a 21-point chicken dinner driven by a seven-finish performance from TagJonathan16, then doubled back to take both Group C MVP slots when TagJonathan16 added another five finishes in the third match. By stumps Apex were on 40 points, five clear of True Rippers and six clear of Godsent Esports, whose 19-point Match 3 win on Erangel was the day's tightest team performance.
Group C: Apex pull clear, RIE pinch the middle
Group C's second match went to Team RIE on Erangel, an 18-point win lit up by RIExBeardbaba's five finishes. With Apex flat in that game, RIE briefly threatened to take the day lead before Apex came back into the third. GENxFM Esports closed fourth on 31, and Rising Esports and Aura X Esports filled out the visible top six with 23 and 21 points respectively, all of them needing a stronger second day from Group C before the relegation cut bites.
Group B: H4K break, Vasista and Mysterious4 chase
The Group B rotation flipped the day. H4K Esports took the first of the group's three matches on Erangel, a 27-point chicken dinner that came with H4KxWizard's six finishes and gave them the breathing room they kept for the rest of Day 1. Zero Ark Official took the Miramar follow-up with 17 points and a WeltDragonOp MVP, and Vasista Esports closed Group B's slate by winning the final Miramar game on 24, with VExBeast's five finishes pulling them within a point of the top.
Where the relegation maths lands
By the end of Day 1 Group B was a three-team scramble: H4K Esports on 35, Vasista Esports and Mysterious4 Esports level on 34, and Welt Esports a clear fourth on 24. Behind them Zero Ark Official sit on 23 and Myth Official on 21 from the visible top six. Group C's order, by contrast, looks more settled at the top, with three matches still to come for both groups before Round 2 closes the rotation and Krafton confirms which four teams from each group promote and which four drop.
The format is the simple bit. Round 2 runs from May 11 to May 14, every team plays six matches across the four days, the top four in each group go up and the bottom four come out. Groups B and C did Day 1 on Monday; Groups A and D get their first day on Tuesday before B and C return later in the week, and the standings are tight enough that a single Match 4 chicken dinner can rewrite the relegation line for either group.
