In response, Zimbabwe reached 182/4 in 19.3 overs to complete the chase with three balls remaining. Brian Bennett led the effort with 63 off 48 balls, guiding the innings through key phases as the visitors maintained control of the required rate.

Zimbabwe’s composed chase ensured they secured the target without late drama, while Sri Lanka were unable to defend a competitive total on home soil.
